Heading
virtual tours, the new norm for now
With the latest New Mexico governor’s health mandate, open houses have come to a complete standstill. Real Estate has been deemed nonessential meaning we cannot meet in person (business is still very much happening). Everything is virtual except showings. However, with showings buyers go in alone. What do I do?
- I go in first, wipe down, open up everything to limit touching.
- Wait in my car singing Adele’s Hello while my buyers tour the home. I wait for their call or text after they leave.
- I go in and wipe down again, lock up, and take selfies (if there is time).
- I talk with my buyers over the phone afterwards (or during the previous step)
Virtual showings help to narrow down buyers picks. They give them a more in depth look at the home before deciding to go see it in person.
Llano Vista Favorites
This 2017 Raylee build is modern and stunning. Its contemporary Mediterranean exterior features stone and stucco aspects. The interior is a clean, modern farmhouse design. Barn style doors, farmhouse kitchen sink, subway title, and bronze accents throughout.
Open concept Living
This single story screams efficiency (and I am not just talking about the Silver Certification). The kitchen, dining, and family living space are open to one another. This makes for a functional design perfect for entertaining (or more accurately quarantining). You can binge-watch your favorites and cook at the same time!
Backyard
The backyard to this lovely Loma Colorado home backs up to an arroyo. What does that mean? No neighbors behind you! The backyard is efficient like the home itself. A mix of low maintenance xeriscaping and AstroTurf grass. It also comes with a covered patio–perfect for hanging outside during all seasons. My favorite? The views of the Sandias!

Green Certification
That’s right. I talked about it enough. I love that this home comes Silver Certified. Having a low HERS score of 60 or Lower, scores a home at the Silver Level in a Build Green NM Program. Not only does having an energy efficient home save you money on your monthly bill, buying an almost new home like this one saves you money at close (you don’t have to buy brand new through a builder).
