Go-Westside?

I’ve heard from many newcomers or soon-to-be-newcomers of the Duke city say that Albuquerque is already a Western city–it has a Westside? Yep! Many cities like our own have their own nicknames for various parts of town and one of ours very uniquely named “the Westside.” Westside Albuquerque is west of the Rio Grande. It is seen as more suburbia than most things with the influx of new builds over the years. Beyond being a suburb of Albuquerque, it has lots of features including great trails with the Petroglyphs and awesome local brewery locations like La Cumbre, Marble, Boxing Bear, Lava Rock, and Tractor. Not only that, the real estate market in Westside neighborhoods like Taylor Ranch, Ventana Ranch, and Paradise Hills is booming. Well priced hot homes don’t last long!

One other popular Westside neighborhood is Montecito Estates. It is close to those gorgeous Petroglyphs, great schools like Tierra Antigua and Volcano Vista, and part of a community with pools, parks, and trails. I hosted a virtual open house at 8301 Go West Road NW this past weekend and feel in love with so many features of the home. Let’s go west and explore this awesome home!

A look inside

This two story has so many great features, it is hard to pick just a few. From the beautiful laminate flooring, the open floor plan, and the views of our beautiful Sandias you won’t be disappointed.

Combined Spaces

When you first walk into the home you are greeted with a combined living and dining space. Not only are these two rooms (really one) beautifully decorated, they offer so much flexibility based of your needs as a buyer. The room is light and bright with the windows framing the space. The rooms are large enough to offer many opportunities: formal living and dining? Library? Study? Homeschool zone? Play area?  You name it–you can probably make it happen here.

The Kitchen

Located on the first floor (like many kitchens), the open floor plan moves you from the front living and dining space into the kitchen and main living room. The kitchen has great views of the Sandias from the sink window, stainless steel appliances, and a lovely granite island that is great for prep work and additional seating. This great kitchen also includes a large pantry and an open view of the main living area. You can watch your favorite show and cook at the same time.

The Primary Bedroom

This bedroom and en suite bathroom and closet are all fabulous. The primary bedroom is HUGE. Big enough for large furniture. California King? No problem. Couch? Bring it in. Yoga corner? Why not. Not only is this a bright and open bedroom, it has a gorgeous en suite bathroom. Double vanities, garden tub, and a walled glass shower. Not only that, the space goes on and on, continuing into the closest which is seriously big. Like bedroom big. Plenty of room for clothes, shoes, and valuables (yup–even comes with a wall safe behind that mirror)!

The Backyard

This great house is located on a corner lot which means a bit more space for buyers. Not only is there great space, there are established beds and roses, AstroTurf, and a pergola with, you guessed it, views of the Sandias. This backyard is great as is and offers opportunities for future homeowners to make it their own.
