Albuquerque’s Academy West neighborhood is full of amenities! Close to schools, shopping, parks, and a golf course it’s no wonder homes tend to fly off the market. In April 2021, for single family detached homes in the Academy West area, we saw 21 new listings, 16 pending sales, and 20 closed sales. The median closed price in April of this year was $288,835 compared to April 2020 which saw a median closed sales price of $271,500. These stats are in line with the market numbers we have been seeing across the city. Low inventory, homes going under contract as fast as they list, and higher sales prices. With homes going under contract at a record rate, it’s wonderful when a great home is still active on the market for buyers to consider.
